The show started by giving me goose bump with spoken word by Verb Binders. They were freakin awesome!! Loved them!! I would like to see them with unified attire and maybe some mask or some props…. Just my opinion…
The second act was Petty Crocker; Petty Crocker was entertaining but I was distracted by her poor choice in wardrobe. I understand wanting to be comfortable and I understand not wearing heels but at least put effort into entertaining me visually. No Shade!!! But customs have always been apart of live entertainment. As long as I can remember fashion has been a big part of entertainment. I mean I am all for have a unique style, I honestly love uniqueness. But stylist have jobs for a reason. I mean if I am paying $15-$20 for a comedy show I would like to know that the comedian at least put enough thought into the set to entertain me with jokes, gestures, fashion, originality and raw talent.
The third act was a first timer… I appreciate the fact that she got up there. Practice makes perfect… looking forward to seeing her later on in her career.
The last one was SyRok Foxx himself. SyRok was definitely the highlight of the show. He had me as well as fellow patron laughing and in tears! I enjoyed SyRok’s set and would indeed be following his career. SyRok was also very well dress and I was impressed!! If you get a chance go see him.
